Meet the Team
Nick DeSando
Partner/Co-Founder
VP Business Development and Direct Hire Search
Nick has been recruiting finance and accounting professionals in the greater DC area for over 15 years. He started his staffing career at the largest specialized staffing firm in the world. Most recently, he was a VP at a boutique, DC based firm, where he spent 11+ years. Throughout his career he has enjoyed servicing all industries with clients ranging from start-ups to large publicly traded companies.
His Edge is a tireless work ethic and relationships with top tier professionals. He is passionate about partnering with clients to build great teams and advising candidates on their next career move.
Nick attended High Point University, where he received a Bachelor’s in Finance. He calls Vienna, Virginia home with his wife and three children. Nick loves playing sports—pickup basketball, golf, and tennis are his current hobbies. He also enjoys coaching his son’s Little League baseball team, his daughter’s soccer team, and watching his older son compete in dive.
Annemarie Drumheller
Partner/Co-Founder
VP Recruitment and Consulting Services
Annemarie started her career in recruitment with the second largest professional staffing firm in the world. Prior to Edge, she was a VP at a regional firm where she built a highly successful practice. She brings more than 15 years of overall professional sales experience, including 11+ years focused on client services and recruitment in the Accounting and Finance field.
Her Edge is her passion for helping others. She enjoys making the best match for both her clients and candidates. She has built an expansive network of accounting and finance professionals in the DC metro market and looks to continue to grow that for many years to come.
Annemarie graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree in Marketing. She resides in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband and two children. When she is not recruiting, Annemarie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to beaches all over the country, and watching her kids sports and activities.
Taylor Fox
Recruiting Manager
Taylor has been recruiting accounting, finance, and cleared professionals across the country for over 7 years. He began his career with one of the fastest growing staffing companies in the United States. Prior to joining the Edge team, he was a Recruiter and Business Development Manager for a top regional accounting and advisory firm named by Accounting Today. Taylor has supported a vast range of client industries varying in size from small privately held companies up to Fortune 500 publicly traded companies. Additionally, he is highly experienced within the government contracting industry and has supported many prime and subcontractors throughout his career.
His Edge is a true passion for helping others, clients, and candidates alike. He is passionate about helping clients with their key talent needs and helping candidates advance themselves in their careers both personally and professionally.
Taylor is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he received a BA in Accounting and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Huntsville, a servant leadership program. Taylor enjoys spending time with his newborn son Elliott and wife Samantha. He also enjoys volunteering in his local community through nonprofit organizations and serving his country as a cleared professional soldier in the United States Army National Guard.
Allyssa Petriello
Recruiter and Marketing Manager
Allyssa started her career with a small staffing firm as an administrative assistant and quickly moved into recruitment and marketing. After a few months in this role, she took on the role of Marketing Manager and Staffing Coordinator for several industries in the eastern North Carolina region. She has been serving with the U.S. Army Reserves since 2016 and continues to serve in Cary, NC. Allyssa joined the Edge Staffing team in Spring 2023 as a Recruiter. She is responsible for full cycle recruitment within the accounting/finance vertical. She also assists with Edge’s marketing efforts.
Her Edge is utilizing her military background to make connections within the recruitment world especially within government contracting.
Allyssa graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in 2020. She resides in Woodbridge, Virginia with her fiancé and dog, Roscoe. When she is not recruiting, Allyssa enjoys living an active lifestyle hiking, going to the beach with friends, and traveling the world.
Stacey Miller
Recruiter
Stacey comes from a background with 10 years as an Account Sales Manager with PepsiCo and worked directly with store owners and managers in the Central KY area. She moved into recruiting in 2021 as a Staffing Specialist and specialized in recruitment for the Kentucky Bourbon Industry, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality Control and Administration. She joined the Edge Staffing team as a Recruiter in the summer of 2022. She is responsible for full cycle recruitment within the accounting/finance vertical.
Her Edge is building strong relationships with candidates. She loves to match qualified candidates with their next career opportunity.
Stacey has lived in Central Kentucky her entire life and has 2 children, 20 & 18. She graduated from Campbellsville University in 2008 with a degree in Criminal Justice and Social Science. In her spare time, she enjoys weight training in the gym, kayaking, traveling, time on their family farm with her husband and playing with her dogs Lynnie & Maverick.
Maci Bernecker
Recruiting Intern
Maci joined Edge Staffing Partners in May 2023 and will be a Recruiting Intern for the Summer of 2023. She will focus on supporting our recruiting team and learning the ins and outs of the staffing business.
Maci is from Williamsburg, Virginia and is currently a senior at Old Dominion University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a Minor in Marketing. While at Old Dominion she was a college cheerleader.
Her Edge is having grown up around staffing as her dad is a veteran leader in the business. She has jumped right into supporting our recruiting team and learning the accounting/finance vertical.
Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career in business and a Master’s degree. When not learning the ropes in recruiting, Maci enjoys spending time at her family beach house and hanging out with friends.
